Privacy Policy

Praxify is operated by Aegora, LLC, a Puerto Rico limited liability company (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. It’s written to be actually readable.

This policy covers our marketing website and the Praxify application. It does not cover what a cleaning company does with its own data, or any third-party site we link to.

Who you might be

Owner — a cleaning company that uses Praxify.

Cleaner — a worker using the field app at the direction of an Owner (your employer or the company you contract with).

Host — a property host or manager who receives reports from an Owner.

Visitor — someone browsing our marketing site or filling in a form on it.

Who is responsible for what

For Visitor information and Owner account information, we decide how the data is used — we are the controller (or, under California law, the business).

For Cleaner and Host information inside an Owner’s account, the Owner is in charge and we act on the Owner’s instructions — the Owner is the controller (or business) and we are the processor (or service provider). If you are a Cleaner or a Host and you want data changed, removed, or explained in the context of your working relationship, start with the Owner. You can always come to us too, and we will route it.

What we collect

From Owners: name, email, phone, company name, timezone, branding (logo), and payment details. Card numbers go directly to Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store them.

From Cleaners: name, phone, email (used for invite links and job identification); job activity — which SOP steps you complete, when you start and finish (timestamps), and the photos you take during a job; and metrics derived from that activity, such as time per task compared against the property’s own baseline. We do not collect GPS location. The field app uses your phone’s camera for live capture; photos are meant to show the property, and you should avoid capturing people.

From Hosts: name and email (provided by the Owner so we can deliver reports).

From Visitors: what you type into a form on our site — name, email, phone, company name, portfolio size, any property names or notes you include, and a logo file if you send one — plus device and usage information described under Analytics and advertising below.

Why we collect it

To run the Service: deliver guided SOPs, generate the manager and host reports, send invites and notifications, bill Owners, provide support, keep the Service secure, and meet our legal obligations. To respond to you when you contact us or ask for a demo, and to send you email about Praxify — product news, useful material for cleaning companies, and follow-up on a request you made. Every one of those emails has a one-click unsubscribe and we act on it immediately. And to measure and improve our marketing. We also use aggregated, de-identified data (for example, average step times) to improve the product.

We do not sell personal information for money. See the next section for what we do share with advertising platforms, which some laws also call a “sale.”

Analytics and advertising

On our marketing website (not inside the app, and not in the field app used by Cleaners) we use:

Say it plainly: we run paid ads, and our marketing site carries an advertising tag. Under California and several other state privacy laws that counts as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands. We do not share Cleaner data, photos, job records, or anything inside an Owner’s account with any advertising platform — ever.

How to opt out

Turn on a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser and we will treat it as an opt-out of sharing for that browser. You can also email clinton@getpraxify.com with the subject “Do Not Share”, or use your browser’s tracking-protection and ad-settings controls, or Meta’s own ad preferences. Opting out does not change anything about the Praxify application.

We do not knowingly share the personal information of anyone under 16 for advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage that are necessary to sign you in and keep the app working, plus the analytics and advertising tags described above on our marketing site. Blocking non-essential cookies in your browser will not break the marketing site.

A note for Cleaners

Praxify records your work activity — timestamps, which tasks you completed, the photos you capture, and speed comparisons against the property’s own baseline — and shares it with your company (the Owner) and, in report form, with the Hosts your company works for. Your company decides what that information is used for. We do not make any decision about your pay, hours, discipline, or employment, and our records are an operational tool, not an official time or payroll record. Questions about how your company uses this data go to your company; questions about how we handle it come to us at clinton@getpraxify.com. We never sell or share it with advertisers.

Photos

Photos captured in the field app document property condition and completed work. They appear in the Owner’s dashboard and in reports the Owner chooses to share. Photo files are stored on unguessable URLs; treat report links as private and share them deliberately. We do not use property photos for advertising or for training third-party AI models.

Who else touches the data (subprocessors)

Each is bound by its own security and privacy commitments. We don’t share personal data with anyone else except: at an Owner’s direction (for example, sending a Host Report), where you ask us to, to comply with law or a valid legal request, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or in a merger or acquisition (with notice). Our providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere.

Security

Access controls at the database level (row-level security), authenticated uploads, rate limiting, and encrypted connections. Our Data & Security page has the detail. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify affected parties as required by law.

Retention and deletion

Owner accounts and their data are kept while the account is active and for 30 days after termination (export window), then deleted. Cleaners: when your company removes you or its account closes, your identifying details follow the same schedule; job records may persist in de-identified form. Visitor form submissions are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. We may retain what we must for tax, accounting, or legal-hold reasons.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, opt out of sharing for advertising, or ask us to stop emailing you (the unsubscribe link in any email does this on its own). Email clinton@getpraxify.com. We will acknowledge within 10 business days and respond within 45 days (we may extend once, with notice, where the law allows). We may need to verify who you are before acting, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a right. Cleaners and Hosts can also route requests through the Owner. If we deny a request we will tell you why, and you may appeal by replying to our response.

If you are in the EEA or UK, our legal bases are: performing our contract (running the Service and billing), legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service, and B2B marketing measurement), consent where required (advertising tags), and legal obligation. You may complain to your supervisory authority.

Children

The Service is for working adults; we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child gave us data, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will post the new effective date here. Material changes are announced by email to Owners and by a notice in the app, 30 days before taking effect.
